Dario Gristina
Mr. Gristina started his professional career with a degree in electronics engineering in the early 1980’s and worked as a Field Engineer for a mainframe computer manufacturers in New York and Quebeq, Canada. In 1985 he joined his Father in developing the Gristina family’s first business enterprise, an electrical engineering/consulting firm that served owners and managers of skyscrapers in New York City. Since then, Mr. Gristina founded, operated, bought, and sold, several businesses in the energy management, electrical engineering, construction, and telecommunications industry, including the first-ever company to provide high-speed internet access to large commercial buildings in NYC, and a lucrative USA business venture with a large multinational company. He has personally developed multiple US patents in the field of energy management and to this day remains quite passionate about science, physics and astrophysics. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of General Energy Services, Inc. a leading energy monitoring and management company operating throughout the US east coast.
Mr. Gristina is also passionate about contributing to worthwhile causes. He has served in an advisory board capacity for Fountain House, an organization focused on helping people living with mental illness, to which Mr. Gristina dedicated well over a decade of his life. He has also served as a Special Advisor to the Putnam County (NY) Sheriff’s Office for over ten years, during which Mr. Gristina gained unique perspectives into the operations of law enforcement agencies and the lives of those who serve our communities and put themselves at risk every day to protect us.
